Jeff Femrite is the Managing Director of Scholz Nonprofit Law, LLC, a multi-state law firm focused on nonprofit organizations, co-ops, affordable housing finance and community development. Jeff's practice covers the full range of affordable housing finance tools - including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, HUD's Rental Assistance Demonstration program, HOME funds and Housing Choice Voucher programs - along with tax-exempt organization compliance, impact investing, and Wisconsin real estate and entity law. He represents community development authorities, public housing authorities, nonprofit organizations, community land trusts and community development organizations throughout the state.

Before joining Scholz Nonprofit Law, Jeff was a partner at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. He has been recognized as one of the best real estate lawyers in America and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He speaks and writes frequently on federal and state housing law developments, including recent changes to LIHTC, RAD, and HOME programs, as well as on impact investing strategies for mission-driven organizations.
